Description 
There are a number of musical related representations in this piece, besides the musical paper included just below the glass photographic negative. The glass bars that run horizontally "through" back of the photo is representational of the bars of a musical staff. The keys at the bottom are representational of quarter notes. The glass stoppers at the top might represent whole notes. These representations seem to be in contradiction to the rather stern or severe people represented in the photo at the center. Notice the little girl in black in contrast to the 2 women and little boy in white.
